South Dakota Housing Development Authority announces our twenty-second annual statewide Housing Conference. Scheduled for November 13-14, 2012 at the Ramkota RiverCentre in Pierre, this year’s conference will feature information on emerging housing trends, the latest Federal rules and regulations, and "New Directions" taken within the housing industry. Participants can take part in multiple educational sessions, engage in housing conversations and make connections at the networking events.

Friend of Housing Award
SDHDA is seeking nominations for our annual Friend of Housing Award. The Friend of Housing award is given to an individual who has made an outstanding commitment to affordable housing in South Dakota through their tireless contributions, achievements and vision. It is given to those who have made affordable housing a large part of their life. If you know of an individual that has made an outstanding commitment to affordable housing in South Dakota, please nominate them. The honoree will be announced at Tuesday’s Luncheon, November 13th.
 
Elmer Whitepipe Award of Excellence
The new Elmer Whitepipe Award of Excellence is named in honor of longtime employee and founding board member of SDHDA. It will be awarded to an individual in the rental housing asset management or compliance industry who exemplifies qualities found in the award’s namesake. The honoree will be announced at Tuesday’s Luncheon, November 13th.
 
Exhibitor Form and Information
SDHDA invites you to exhibit at the 2012 SDHDA Annual Housing Conference. Approximately 300 professionals from all aspects of the housing industry attend. For $35 per booth, you will be provided with a table, tablecloth, and two chairs in a 6' x 8' area.
