Housing Tax Credits
In 1987 the South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) was selected to allocate South Dakota's Housing Tax Credits (HTC). SDHDA currently administers the Compliance Monitoring for properties that recieve Housing Tax Credits.
SDHDA is directly responsible for the following:
- Conducting management and occupancy reviews.
- Responding to health and safety issues.
- Conducting and/or following-up on the results of HTC project physical inspections.
