South Dakota Housing Development Authority Welcomes New Board Member - Scott Erickson

Gov. Dennis Daugaard has appointed Scott Erickson to the South Dakota Housing Development Authority (SDHDA) Board of Commissioners. 

Erickson is the chief executive officer of E&E Management. He has a bachelor’s degree from South Dakota State University.

“We are excited to have Scott joining us,” said Mark Lauseng, Executive Director. “His experience, background and knowledge will complement our current Board of Commissioners.”

Erickson and his wife, Kelly, have three children, Charlie, Emmi and Lilly.

“It’s an honor to be appointed by the Governor to serve our great state. The SDHDA plays an important role in the growth of South Dakota and I am excited to bring my experience to the table,” said Erickson. “I look forward to joining a team that continues to do great work for South Dakota.”

Erickson has volunteered for several organizations within his community including Lutheran Social Services, Junior Achievement, YMCA, St. Francis House, and Knights of Columbus, and is a member of Holy Spirit Church.

Erickson joins current commissioners Brent Dykstra of Fort Pierre, Bill Hansen of Centerville, Rick Hohn of Watertown, Steve Kolbeck of Brandon, Mark Puetz of Mitchell and Chairman David Pummel of Belle Fourche.

SDHDA’s commissioners are appointed by the Governor and serve to establish policy for the organization and oversee its operations.
