May 22, 2013

9:30AM-11:00AM MST

Affordability is a matter of not just rent but also utilities. If you have residents who are paying as much or more each month for utilities as they do for rent, its perhaps not affordable housing anymore. To increase affordability, there may not be much you can do about the rent but you can reduce the utility bills. Energy costs will only increase in the future, so what you do now to reduce utility cost will provide more and more benefits in the future. For owners paying utilities, reduction in utility costs from energy efficiency improvements can add to the operating budget cash-flow for the next 20 years. There are proven processes that will reduce your energy consumption and create a safe and comfortable environment for your residents. We will share with you the potential ways to improve your facility, so you can reduce your utility bills without having to outlay capital costs.
