About The Event

The Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is now legally applicable to housing funded by most HUD programs, HOME Funds, Rural Development and the Tax Credit. Noncompliance could result in legal liability and even Fair Housing trouble. Since the IRS is not likely to provide guidance on VAWA, what steps should owner/agents of Tax Credit Properties take? What should state Tax Credit Agencies do? This 90 minutes webinar provides an overview of the compliance rules associated with VAWA. Note: although the focus is on how VAWA applies to Tax Credit properties, the basic provisions covered will apply to all programs covered by VAWA.

Attendees will receive a PDF course manual full of practical advice, follow-along workshops and useful references!

Scott Michael Dunn, Costello Compliance's CEO and owner has almost three decades of experience in affordable housing and training in housing rules. This webinar leaves attendees better equipped to apply victim protections per the VAWA statute and HUD guidance.
