The Governor's House Program will again have display homes available for showing at locations around South Dakota.
This year's 960 sq. ft., two bedroom show homes will be located in Sioux Falls, Yankton, Huron, Rapid City, Aberdeen, and Sisseton.
"This is a perfect opportunity for those interested in purchasing a Governor's House to get a sneak peak," said Paul Kostboth, Coordinator of Sales and Moving for the Program. "Many people comment on the amount of space available and the convenient floorplan."
The show homes will be overseen by the Governor's House Sales Representatives in the area. Persons interested in viewing a home may contact SDHDA. The homes are expected to be available for showing through September and are available for purchase by qualified buyers.
Initiated in 1996, the Governor's House provides reasonably sized, affordable homes to income-qualified individuals and families. This low-maintenance, energy efficient home is designed to provide ownership opportunities where income levels may have prevented previous homeownership.
