Governor
Janklow recently made a special purchase of 10,000 programmable
weather radios for South Dakota.
These weather radios are designed to alert citizens of potential
weather risks as well as immediate information on other life-threatening
situations.
SDHDA would like to encourage managers and owners of affordable
housing to help educate their tenants, especially elderly individuals
and families about how to get one of these radios.
